The Story of Runa
In early 2009 we set out to answer a critical question “How can we make online shoppers buy more without giving away the store?”
It quickly became clear to us that to deliver a webscale solution for the most sophisticated eCommerce players we would need to build an entire Conversion Operating System. The heart of our operating system is the Darwin EngineTM which captures the site history of each and every visitor and computes the Purchase Intent Index and generates a PerfectOfferTM, all in real-time. Across multiple retail categories, our customers see a median sales uplift of 15%, triggered by a modest 3% effective price reduction.
